I wanted to show this photo from when I was in Sydney at the end of last year...I can not remember what the lens was ..Possibly the Biotar 2.8/58 or mamiya 1.8/55.
I just wanted to post at least one image when I had actually shot in raw this is now converted to Jpeg, I am still trying to work out how to use the Pentax software.I love the details in the building.I just cropped the edge a bit as there was some distraction on the side.

That Sydney stone is very workable and unlike European examples, has not had to suffer as much pollution. Perhaps it is more resistant to modern ravages? It is possible that there was superior workmanship involved as the detail is impressive.

Bet you wished you had a rising lens!

Yes,I love the Queen Victoria building and did not have a lens capable to show it all off. Sad

Give it time Pat, I'm sure the stone work will suffer soon enough. BTW the convict stome masons would have had a lot of free time on their hands so added detail could have been deemed occupational therapy.
Moira, could that have been your 58mm Biotar?

I think so,just by looking at the small amount of the building I could capture.I forgot to label it, usually I put all my images in their own folder labeled with the lens I was using at the time.
Embarassed

Moira, if you used the Pentax and not film right click the photo, properties/details and it will show the focal length you entered into the camera.
Hopefully you didn't have any 55mm lenses with you that trip.
I keep a log on what I used each day so back track the lenses that way.
