I had a day out last weekend with my Canon 1DII and Meyer Orestor 2.8/135 lens (I love the diaphragm elements in this lens).
Visiting NT property Oxborough Hall in Norfolk on a bright sunny day and delighted to find some re-enactors doing some re-enacting. Having lost access to photoshop elements, I've converted these in DPP.
Here's this fellow demonstrating a matchlock (lovely)
Here's his bivvy
and here's a moody photo of part of the moat
Here's another discharge just for fun but check the sparks flying from the flash in the pan
and finally, this is a near neighbour and his charming wife both serial Nikon users. I had one camera and one lens on the shoulder strap. His wife told me this is his idea of travelling light. The look on his face told me what he thought about MF lenses Taken from the tower, this is a crop, not a good photo at all but included simply for pleasure.
