Has anyone used this lens or knows anything about the quality of it? I could not find any information on the forum.
Impressive looking lens.
Thanks.

It might be very similar to the Schneider Curtagon 4/24, which has a good reputation. Schneider and ISCO were originally two branches of the same company.

I have this lens in M42 mount. It's beautiful, and build quality is great. Optically it gives soft(ish) corners on my 5DmkII until well stopped down. Also, its rear lens stops 5D's mirror when focused between infinity and ~3m. Overall it's a great collectors item but not as great of a user.

Thanks. Yes it is beautiful and I see it for sale sometimes, but perhaps it is not so important for me to have, especially considering the price for it usually high.

I saw a garbage looking one in Soosfoto, months ago was quiet pricelly to have it and play. Rare lens, not get big success due very rare lens big size keep me away as user lens. A Nikon , Konica or Minolta have much handy size and their performance is stunning, Yashica ML 24mm also stunning. Take only if you have collector interest too.

Many ISCO lenses are rare, and are pricey because they are rare. But sometimes I wonder if maybe they are rare because their performance did not justify their price tag when they were still being made, so not many copies were sold or, rather, bought. I wonder if a Flektogon 25/4 would be sharper than the ISCO, even if not as well made.

Latest Flektogon 25mm f4 zebra is awesome sharp, I didn't see any better lens in this focal lenght. Older leatherette finish lens less good a lot.

I had a few ISCO all was good as others, none of them was above than others. I sold all I saw no point to keep them, they were not in my collector interest and none of them shoot better than what I use daily.

Early silver ISCO lenses are quite common, the later black barrel lenses are harder to find because by the time they came out the German camera industry was in decline, and ISCO quit making camera lenses in the early 70s. I've never used the 4/24, but I doubt it could perform better than the much more common CZJ 4/25. It is pretty cool looking though. Some of the ISCO lenses I have had have been great, other have been abominable.

There are several on sale right now, including one for 75 cents: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Isco-Gottingen-Westrogon-24mm-F4-in-Exakta-Mount-/310704636704?pt=UK_Photography_VintagePhotography_VintagePhotoAccessories&hash=item4857708320

It seems strange to me that the ISCO 24 is easier to find than the Enna 24 which had a much longer production life.
