Hello,
I've bought this lens because I was curious to see the difference to the older Helios 44s:

The body of the lens looks like the body of the Helios 44M-7.

I hold it out of my windows and made some testshots. It seems to be sharp in the center and very blurry in the corners. Nearly like a C-Mount lens but without the dominant vignetting. This has a big potential as an effect lens for potraits or flowers.

Do you have some experiences with this lens? Made anyone some "real" photos with it here?

I am not sure but that may be an issue with the adaptor, I have a cosinon 28mm at does the same on one of my adaptors, but on the other it takes nice pictures, confirmed using it on the NEX as well

Must be sample variation. Mine's better in the corners than your picture shows. The corners are not sharp wide open, but not quite as soft as your sample seems to be.

Make sure the rear element group is firmly screwed in place, you get this effect if it is loose.
