Been busy with reno's lately and haven't had much time for anything.
Though this Jup-37AM reminded me that all work and no play might not be the way to go :p
K-5/Jupiter-37AM, F3.5
I'll pick-up again later with this combo to see if I can't put a together something with a little more substance. |

Life is like a camera. Focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, just take another shot. |

Thanks
Apparently the AM has newer(better?) coatings than the A version.
Though I haven't tested the two myself.
Here's another snap taken with the same lens today.
Vignette due to very long hood which is the only thread I can find to fit the lens atm.

And a crop:
I noticed today that our neighbor has some really nice red and yellow tulips in their garden. I might try and sneak-in their tomorrow to see if I can't get a few frames. |

I had one and found it very close to the CZJ 135, but not quite as sharp so I sold it. _________________ Casual attendance these days |

HAHA! - Not if I can help it
I found here another Jupiter-37AM shot in my stash.
Trying to get the cat to pose in the flowers(since he loves spraying them). But like all cats, he was defiant and so I settled on a still of him in the branches(wasn't very happy).
Anyways, the lens seems to handle the setting quite well and I guess the sharpness is about as good as one could expect from a 135mm(or I can't complain I guess).
Full spread:
The crop:
100%:
A slight PF tinge in the mix, though nothing to complain about tbh.
Or at least nothing that can't be addressed in post.
I have collected quite a few Jupiter-37's over the years(5 I believe) and they've all been fairly consistent. Though I'm not sure if they are THE BEST in terms of bokeh(depends on tastes), though I'd be curious to see some testing in the near future. |
