hi,
went to a flea marked yesterday, and bought two rokkor's both good condition ( glass) an both at a reasonable price of 20 euro ( a piece).
the rokkor md 1.4 50mm.
The rokkor macro 3.5 50mm |
nice catch, did you get the matching macro tube for the rokkor macro that makes it go to 1:1 magnification?

now the rokkor macro is pushing its way up into my liking. but there is no more space in my bag .
so one needs to go.
I got my standard zuiko 14-45mm (as my wide angle )
zuiko 70-300mm( for birds and so )
zuiko 50mm 1.8 (fast one) ( might be the rokkor 1.4 soon)
vivitar 300mm (f3) ( for a fast all rounder)
czj flektogon 35mm ( as my macro)
so i was thinking to put the czj back in the box, would this be a good choice ? ( like the image qaulety of the czj but not the feel). |
why make any lens feel neglected? just work out the lens rotation, on one outing take one lens, on other outing another lens instead. i have over 70 MF lenses and every time i go out to shoot i choose 4 or 5 lenses for that outing.

these are my first minolta lenses ( i can use) and i am pretty impressed
by there image quality, why are the so under rated ? ( under priced ?).
thanks |
i think mainly because they are difficult to use on Canon or Nikon dSLR's (Canon and Nikon users correct me if i'm wrong), so owner's of those dSLR's tend to look over these lenses so there is a less demand for them hence lower prices _________________ my tools:Oly E-M5 + 45mm/1.8 + Oly E-520 + 12-60 + 14-42 + 70-300 + Sigma 105mm + FL-50R + EC20 + SRF-11 ring flash
