Please watch the slide-show full screen and pause to read each of the 4 panels.
This set came about as I was out testing my Zeiss Contina late yesterday afternoon.
I did not intend to make a slide-show but ended up with a set that works as a bit of a story.
It's sort of a mothers day theme.... mother earth that is Smile
This is very lo-fidelity photography. It adds to the feel of the place if you ever went there.
Deception pass State Park is the most visited of the state parks in Washington.
Currently I am working on a large tour of the park. There are many historical and pre-historical wonders there.
It's 5 minutes from my house. If ever any of you visit I'm happy to guide a tour from land and by Kayak.

Excellent work, Andrew, makes me sorry I didn't visit this park when I was
stationed at Trident Subase Bangor in the 80's.

What film did you use for this?

Thanks Bill
Did not realize you were Bangor. It's wild thinking about what goes on over there.
If you ever are up this way again let us all know yeah?

The film here was HP5 shot at 1600+ a little Wink
developed with Tmaxdev this time as I knew I was already pushing my luck with the extra push. Rodinal would have wiped out those text panels from heavy grain.
The Contina did pretty good at mostly wide open. Mine is a folder version with Opton Tessar 2.8/45mm.
It's a cute little brick but slow to use with the un-coupled RF.

Andrew, great results with the HP5 and TMAX dev.

Yes, was at Bangor 85-88, pretty base, had two lakes and their own game
warden on 7000+ acres. The only navy base comparable is King's Bay, GA,
(so they tell me) which was modeled after Bangor. I went to several 'parks'
but it was by invitation only: fun and games with the Rangers at Huckleberry
Creek MTC, Green Berets at McChord AFB, and ops at Fort Lewis. I was one
of two embark corpsman from the clinic that accompanied Charley Company,
Marine attachment at Bangor. Beautiful country, miss it.

Which lens? I had a Contina with the 3.5/45 Novar.
