I love this lens. Nice build quality and fairly sharp. And it sells for cheap on Yahoo Auctions in Japan. I got mine (good condition) with the original case for around 25 US dollars!

Did you get the Q or the QC? I've been meaning to add a QC to my inventory of Nikkors one of these days soon.

It's the Q version. What's the difference between Q and QC? Is it it the coatings?

Yep, I believe the QC is multicoated.

yes. QC means multi-coated I have QC lens.
