I am taking 2 days off and heading back to the rain forest in a few minutes!

In the meantime, I wanted to show a nice creek that I love - in fact, I spent
at least HALF of my childhood here, and a LOT of time fishing for trout.
This is STILL a wonderful trout stream, but it's now catch-and-release
except you can keep the first two you catch. Sometimes you'll hook into
a steelhead on this stream, and that can be a fight! I don't do much
fishing any more, but always used barbless hooks so that the fish could be
turned back to their home with minimal trauma.

And here was an attempt at hand-holding a shot at 1/4 second. Of course,
there's some blur there, but that's why I call it an attempt. So, I
think my limit might be around 1/8 second if I haven't had any coffee!
I'll be there again this afternoon, but with my tripod this time.

Beautiful Larry. This is going to be one of the greenest summers ever in the PNW. Very Happy
The x100 very much seems to be the perfect digital companion for your adventures.
Congrats!

Looks like a beautiful spot -- green for sure! How do you like the X100?

They look great Larry. But then again about everything you shoot looks great.

They have quite a velvia look to them. Very nice.

Is the little camera water resistant and is it the only camera you are taking?

Be careful alone in the woods.

I keep returning to the first pic and looking at the water surface in the pool... that's surface tension and life. Excellent.
I'm a sucker for waterfalls and probablility trees, of which the second is a good example.
