I haven't got around to getting the first two rolls of color developed... so yesterday I put some HP5+ in the Autocord, developed in D-76 1:1 per Ilford instructions. Just for fun I shot the same Hardie wagon as I'd shot 2 months ago with the Diacord. Of course, the film, light, aperture etc are all different, but overall a similar level of quality. The day was cloudy and threatening rain so aperture was between 5.6 and 8... For the wheel I believe it was 5.6.

for reference the Diacord version

"100% crop" from the 1200DPI, lightened a little from the above

Absolute crap...well, no help for it, send it to me for proper disposal.
Love the tones in this, nice mood, and the lens comes as advertised. You're
not saying, but I'm sure you are giggling on the inside, a definite keeper.
Congrats! |

Thanks, yeah, I'm thinking I'll keep this one... The Diacord has an equally good lens, probably, but otherwise is built more to a lower price point than the Autocord was, and I can see that in some details. _________________ -Jussi

Looks great Jussi.
The sharpness and detail is really impressive. The oof area is a bit jittery in those leaves for my eye. |
