Does anyone have any experience with MIS' UT-14 black and white ink set for the Epson Claria 1400 printer?

I puchased this set last fall but have not had too much experience with it, thought this past weekend I spent half of Saturday working on two prints that ultimately did come out very nicely.

I followed Paul Roark's instructions with mixed results. I suspect most of the issues are with me. I'd like to get into a deeper dive on this but will wait to see if there is some experience in the forum before going into details.
