I was never a wide angle shooter. I had a 28mm 3.5 Takumar that I sold because I never used it, and didn't really like it. I bought an inexpensive Vivitar 35mm 2.8 not too long ago, Tokina made, that surprised me (in a good way).

So when I saw this Tokina RMC 28mm 2.8 M42 I thought I'd try it out if I could get it cheaply enough. It cost me $11, including the Hoya UV filter that came with, and is great shape.

These are my first shots with it and I am quite pleased. I like the colour and sharpness SOOC. These do have some processing, but they didn't need anything major.

Just wanted to add that the last one, the yellow forsythia flowers, is a significant crop of the original. I wanted to show how sharp this lens is even when cropped in.
