I tried to use the macro mode on my recent ebay acquisition (Olympus c-315 zoom) but wasn't that impressed until I discovered the Super Macro mode (2 cm).

Cherry Blossom tree taken early in the morning in super macro mode. No PP images resized per gallery rules.

Very interesting. More than that. I have a C310 (only 3.2Mp) for years and was not aware of the super macro mode Embarassed . I'll try it!
