I guess that it's an enlarging lens.

Anybody tried this ?

Any date?

Thanks.

Rino.

No, have not tested that lens, but a Cassar 50mm f/3.5.
I think my lens was for bellows use, cause it have 1,2,4,8 instead of 3.5 5,6 8 on the iris ring.

The quality is not bad.
Here I have some full resolution images on my website - the naming of the files is bad, was a Cassar, not Cassarit.

The metal knob has 8 mm diameter, a old self timer

Zone V.

I like that work. Very impressive. Steinheil lenses have a very good concept.

Nice triplet

Thank you for your help. Very much.

The best for you.

Rino.

Have corrected the second not working link.

I suppose that your lens is with the same optical concept for bit bigger objects.

I want to start with some macro and micro work this spring. Have some lenses (enlager lenses, Novoflex heads, some reversed lens ideas) and this Steinheil lens. Eager to know, which lens is good at which magnification ratio.

Like my Steinheil lenses - they even look very good - have a 135 Quinar as well Smile I think one of the finest looking lenses.

I know only four versions of the steinheil 135. 1- The chrome; 2-The zebra type; 3- The Quinar "D" and 4- The Quinar macro.

Any of them is my dream 135 lens. The 135 focal lengh isn't my favorite, but if I could have one, not more short teles for me. Wink
