I took the Sigma DP2 for a walk yesterday, and once again when looking at pictures shot in good light I was bowled over by its lens: if you consider that a used DP2 goes for 250€ or less, it's probably the lens/camera combo with the highest return for your money in the digital world. And what's more, images from the DP2 often have "punch" without you needing to perform magic tricks in postproduction.

A 100% crop from this picture, with slight motion blur as it was shot at 1/50





Just for comparison, a 100% crop I shot with the 5D I had, and a Nikkor 50/1.4, probably around 2.8.



The problem is that now, I find most images from Bayer-equipped cameras flat and lifeless...

The only thing I can say is wow to the photos you shoot from the DP2 .
