On my LCD they look oversharpened. But that's the downside of LCD monitors, they amplify sharpening.
On my CRT however, they look perfect. Also, based on my experiences, the average LCD is not accurate in this way. |

Nope, all hand-held. At f/1.4 none of these went below 1/250 I think - with the majority probably up around 1/2000. So I didn't need a pod. But I'm certainly not pod-shy! I dig pods and have been known to carry many extra pounds over multiple day excursions just for the support and to avoid the higher ISOs. I even carried one up to the top Mt. Fuji no too long ago.

Yeah, could be I guess. The lens certainly doesn't need more than the most minimal amount of sharpening - that's for sure! And none at all by the time it gets to f/2.0 or so.
