The foreground bokeh is hard to judge by, but looks like it could be a mirror lens. Probably isn't.

It doesn't look too sharp, so something very old?

This is a mirror lens, the Tamron SP 500 F:8.
It was taken handheld in a dark room when I visited a zoo in Lille.
Iso 800, shutter speed 1/50 et 500mm. That's why it's not too sharp. Wink

Stan, APO Lanthar is in a plane. I await it to arrive in 8-10 days.

Aww -- you beat me to it. I saw evidence of tiny donuts so I was gonna say it was your Tamron. Good to know I was right at any rate.
