I bought Tokina 35-70/4 lens as my zoom lens. I didn't expect much before I received the lens.
Then I made some shots, wow its sharp enough in wide open. Believe me shot in wide open is easy to get focus.
In a short of occasion I compared it with my friend's EF 17-40 L, while I asked him to tried this lens (he isn't manual lens user) He can't believed the sharpness is almost same. I laughed at him, ' coz the price is way too much different.
the EF win in contrasty. Tokina in Bokeh
