Here are a few from a recent trip to Kyoto. D3000 with the kit lens or thr 35/1.8G (and a CPL in many of the shots).

Kyoto in spring is a dream, you catched that very well, especially the Sakura!

Thanks everyone. I was about one week too early for the main cherry blossom season. But there a few trees that had bloomed early.

The second last shot of the red bridge would have looked much better a week later when all those cherries started to bloom.

I didn't write this in the post but the first three shots are of the bamboo path in Arashiyama in western Kyoto. The rest are from the temple Daigoji in southern Kyoto.

I'll post up some more later tonight.
