Hi guys!

Today it's dull but sunny in Hamburg, so my wife and I decided to take a walk to the harbour and trough the Speicherstadt.

I had only my new walkaround lens with me, the Tamron 35-80 2.8-3.5! I quiet like it!

Seems to be a fine lens. Fog or haze can be interesting to work with. Evens out the background.
My favorite is #3.

Photogenic place, in this weather difficult to make good images without Contax lenses Wink This Tami is a good lens indeed, I did love it too.

What makes Contax lenses better in this kind of weather?

They capture images with better contrast in rain, dull weather than others.

When Patrick (Poilu) was here in Budapest he did use Vario-Sonnar in rain , images was way better than I ever made in similar weather. Ok it was mounted on an 5D2 Wink . I found 100mm Topcor Navy has similar feature.

Ah! Ok!

It's a pity that it's so difficult and expansive to make Contax work on Nikon!

How is Leica R in respect to bad weather?

Leica-R quality is vary, not stable as Contax as I read on .NET , but I guess due most of them top lens, they works same well , just a guess.
I hope Rolf will read it and answer to your question he use Leica-R glasses extensively on Nikon.
