Just received my latest a CZJ Tessar that looks just like my Biotar.The Tessar is in working order the body is a bit marked but that is not a concern.. Very Happy So here are my Twins...

I double the congrats! Way to go! A couple of fabulous mechanically
excellent designs. I'll bet they are still smooth and solid.

The silver lens are some of the best looking ones ever made

The Tessar is very smooth, but the Biotar was a CLA from the start but now it is beautiful to use.I love the mechanics of these Alu lenses....and the images they can produce.I will be taking it out for some "rose" shooting... Laughing

i believe these lenses are exellent, but i`m afraid to buy some.. because i don`t like that aluminum finish.. Smile

I'm starting to collect them again too.

BTW I've found that the Alu finish ones are optically better than later zebra and starwars. I't may be just a matter of feeling .. who knows.
