Found a meyer 75mm primoplan on craigslist.

It looks to be the post-war model and in pretty bad shape.

If this lens looking better it is fetch 700-800 USD, you can re-polish exterior to make it to better looking. I have this lens in excellent condition nice portrait lens not better than any other 85mm lens and not worst than others. Pretty average performer. It's main value it's rarity. If you need a stunning portrait lens leave it or buy it and re-sell it and buy a better one. If you like rare , extra pieces like me take it and be proud you have it

So you can polish these?

What do you use?

Thanks for the info..I love my meyer trioplan 100mm so I hope the glass is clear enough to use.

I think simple tooth paste or metal polish what is good for aluminum works

try it on a piece of aluminum what is similar looking than lens
