Hi to all.
One of my fellow brothers in the monastery asked me for some portrait photos. So we did some shots today. Here is the best one for me. What you say? Isn't it to dark? For me is OK, but I'm open to any suggestion to improve the outcome.

EOS 50D + CZ Planar 50/1.7@2.8, natural light through window. Lightroom/PS/SilverEfexPro.

This is fine, let we see others. Usually I like eye contacts on portraits.

I like the contrast and the light... I think it's great

the light indeed is very good.
but i also think it does not allow you to open up your exposure without blowing out the right side of his face.
if you wanted it lighter you could use a reflector, but i really like this. there are enough light parts in the photograph, you can see his eyes quite well and i think this exposure creates a wonderful mood.
