Tamron SP500 a "not so pretty boy" Juvenile Rosell

Slightly out of focus...but still a nice bird,when they are older they go a bright Crimson...I will be trying for some more tomorrow.It was a bit nervous and kept watching me and moving.These were right beside my house....I am so lucky I don't have to move very far to be able to photograph beautiful parrots.
I bumped the contrast and brightness on these...most are cropped as an out of focus branch was just too distracting.

Hey Mo, great shots. I like #5 and #7 the best.

So far I've seen cockatoos and this brightly colored parrot. I'm guessing now that you probably get a pretty decent variety of the parrot family migrating through there when the berries ripen?

The next one that should turn up is the King parrot that is a superb green and orange.The Cockatoos and Rosellas are everywhere...so easy to find and capture....basically they have a strong hold on this particular tree and its berries so hang around until they strip it bare.There are a few other parrots around town but I have to keep an eye out to find out where they are snacking and have the Tamron handy.
