I'm enjoying a bit of spare time I have, so digging up older transparencies
and scanning them. I don't mind showing them in here of course, but be
aware that some are posssibly simply "okay" and others might be "better".
It's more to show the lovely scenery than to show any expertise.

I'm not sure on this - perhaps a crop to get rid of the reflective backwater.
I do like the natural cyan tones of the river, which is the actual color. But
this might be too busy overall. The contrast is huge, and tough to scan.

This one goes into the sleeve for looking at in later years. Even if
the image isn't compelling, the scene brings a great memory. Maybe
I'll sit in a rocking chair when I'm too old to walk very well, and just
look at the scenery, vicariously. Very Happy

River Bank
Pentax 645
Pentax-A 55/2.8
1 second and f:22
Velvia 50
Slight Unsharp Mask at 20/2/2
No other manipulations - what I saw is what I got Very Happy

Haha! I'm TRYING! It takes a lot of time to scan these scraps of light-
positive emulsion! And there's a whole big BOX of these!

Attila, you are way beyond kind! You have to realize that it's hard to go
wrong with the beauty around here. It's really a matter of just pointing
and shooting.

rbelyell and poilu - Thanks! Well, if I was actually a good enough painter,
I think that Velvia is sort of the "equivalent" of oil paints rendered with
a big thick brush. Very Happy
