I use mainly LR for PP.

You'll probably know that exif data for MF lenses often is not available. In my case, I'd like to add information about the lens in batch mode to RAW files (NEX to be more specific). Anyone can make me a recommendation on what program(s) to use?

For instance, I have several versions of the same lens, for example:

Quote:

Industar-22 50mm f/3.5 П (KOMZ, 11366) [Kz15, rigid, reproduction]
Industar-22 50mm f/3.5 П (KMZ, 0139529) [K365, collapsible]
Industar-22 50mm f/3.5 П (KMZ, 5211797) [K370, rigid black face]
Industar-26M 5cm f/2.8 П (FED, 654)
Industar-26M 52mm f/2.8 (FED, 1693729)
Industar-50 5cm f/3.5 П (KMZ, 8045164) [collapsible]
Industar-50 5cm f/3.5 П (KMZ, 5808420) [K440, rigid]

I'd also like to alocate the serial number in the exif, if that would be possible, so as to easily differentiate between the various version I already have. What would be the best way to proceed?

best way is to use the iptc keyword
I use bridge but most programs allow to set this field
LR can also do it but you have to use synchronize if you want to access the field from other soft
