During my stay in Manhattan over Christmas and New Year I decided to take a series of images of abandoned Christmas trees on the roadside. I used my LX (loaded with Delta 100), my new FED2 (loaded with Kodak BW400CN), my Lubitel 2 (loaded with HP5+) and my K20D.
Here are a few of them. Some of the others can be found in my Flickr photostream (http://www.flickr.com/photos/31364196@N04/sets/72157625747958685/).

In New York City the trash men also do the snow ploughing. Generally a good plan until you get over a foot of snow in one night and then the rubbish doesn't get collected for a few days. There were some impressive mounds of rubbish by the sides of the road!
