Wow. Incredible if it works. However, at $700, you would want to own those EOS L glass to justify it! Mad

Maybe I am missing the point.. but given that most Zuiko lenses in the pro class are the equal of L glass, and certainly their consumer Zuikos are no poorer than consumer EOS.. what would one want to put EF lenses onto a GH for anyway?

Availability, perhaps? Canon EOS L glass is common. How common is the primo Oly glass? And none of the good Oly glass is AF, is it?

I think they will AF on the GH2. The problem is those designed-for-PDAF lenses are usually dreadfully slow on a CDAF system.

The OM stuff wasn't AF but all the Zuiko 4/3rd lenses are.. and many will AF on the m4/3rds system.. As has been said by others though Phase detect AF lenses can be slow on Contrast detect AF cameras.. though that would apply equaly to 4/3 and EF lenses on the m4/3rd system?
