Did some trioplan 2.8/100 test.
Bokeh really improves from 2.8 to 4.0

This seems to be my experience also. My pre-war model of the Trioplan is easier in this regard than my post-war one, as it has no aperture clicks, just one smooth range.

I find myself usually first setting the largest aperture, and then closing it down juuuust a bit, unless I want the "full Trioplan bokeh effect". Smile
