Today I got a 2x converter for M42 lenses. I just tried it with my Pentacon 4/200 and SuperTak 4/200. Quick results, in lamplight (I did not try them outdoors yet). A bit USM applied, to negate the effects of the Canon 5D AA filter:

Pentacon 4/200 + Jenor 2x converter


SuperTak 4/200 + Jenor 2x converter

It looks like this Jenor converter is the same as the M42 converter that was sold with the Royal brand. No idea who made it though.
