I bought this little lens some weeks ago. It looks to be in good shape.
I look forward to try it properly on my PEN.

Thx
Many Elitars seems pretty easy to disassemble for cleaning.

Thx a lot guys!
Here is my first shoots
I am wondering if some of the vignetting is caused by the relatively long sunshade. The gradient feels sharper than my other C-mount.
Or not?!?
Lets end with a portrait

Seems Soligor cine lenses are way better than SLR lenses from those years.

I have the same impression
I don't have many slr Soligors and most of them are from the early and mid 60s. I bought them from a collecting point of view for reasonable prices, but they seems a little softer than the C-mount from late 50s & 60s. I do have one newer 28mm f2 C/D which is good, but not as sharp fully open, but have better contrast than the C-mounts.
I like these solid brass chrome plated Soligors very much. Most of them are in good shape and they have easy screw apart for accessing the inner glass for cleaning.
They are sharp in the center and soft to the edges. This makes them good for portraits, flower pictures and similar center dominated objects. _________________ Lars | Manuellfokus.no |
