Hello,
I bought this adapter on ebay. The AF confirm works fine and the built quality is good.
I tried to mount it on a Helios lens but the fit is a little but too loose so that when I use it on the camera the lens moves, when you focus mostly. If used for videos (mainly) it practically dances in it and makes the lens unusable.
I don't seem to find any other way to mount the adapter but just one way and the fit is not steady at all, is it just me or a common thing with cheap adapters? It depends on the lens maybe? Are there any HK/China that fits better? Experiences?

Thank you

Are you sure the lens is a Helios? I'm not aware of any Helios lenses in Nikon mount. Surely it's an M42 screw mount lens?

Depending on what is rocking, use some tape to shim between lens and adapter, or, sometimes the adapter bayonet fins can be bent to tighten.

While shooting videos with my AF confirm adapter I noticed that the image often has an exposure shift. It goes down for half a second than it comes back to normal. Does this happen with all chips?
