Very well done macro shot! Bumblebees are sweet and patient creatures,
I use to touch them gently on their backs and they show with their back
legs when it's enough. They treat you how you treat them. _________________ Klaus - Admin

Exactly, my father had many bumblebee families for years.Me and my father just love them , even at hot summer when I was wet and wear only one trousers I can walk around my father and help to him in maintenance. Bees did never bite me ever. My father was in safe also he was always gentle with them and talk to them, care them. Result? He never wear mask and got only a few bites under years.
My MOM didn't like then much (as usual animals) she never can get close to bees , bees did bite her She did sit in small houses close to bees behind curtain my father and me did enjoy company of these great creatures. _________________ -------------------------------
