It finally stopped raining and I grabbed the m39 adapter, Sony Nex and one of my favourite (and cheapest!!) lenses - Uncoated Leica Elmar 9cm 1:4
Serial no. 165202 - manufactured in 1933!
The pictures are SOOC, except for #3 (I did a quick "auto everything in Lightroom)









Of course, lack of coatings has it's challenges...
Pictures taken pointing towards the sun have a "vintage" low contrast look. Then again it could be a very slight fogging - after all, the lens is nearly 80 y.o. ...

Isn't it great to use those old lenses on the NEX?

The last picture shows the low contrast due to flare which is caused by the lack of coating. That can be a very nice effect.
