Very nice, thanks for sharing. The first and last does it for me.
It's an interesting lens.

Thanks - I like this lens's versatility , I am hoping I get to shoot some real birds soon. I have been unlucky the few outings I have taken this lens on as far as shooting birds.

I have same lens. AT-X D model.
If someone wants to see pictures, mostly aeroplanes, I can put some here.

It would be nice to see samples: what camera?

Very nice. You've got a cool 3D effect going on in a few of the shots, and the bokeh are nice and smooth.

This lens doesn't happen to have an image stabilization feature does it?

No it does not- but the camera I use does. I shot all of these hand held although its pretty heavy.

Thanks

I have a 450D so no IS. Shots are handheld and I have to boost ISO sometimes. Up to 400 it's not a big deal. 800 gives me a headache.

F11, 1/1000sek, ISO400, 350mm

F9, 1/320sek, ISO100, 100mm

F16, 1/1000sek, ISO400, 80mm

F7.1, 1/125sek, ISO400, 400mm

It's a very decent lens. Especially 80-300 range. At 400mm there are already CA, Coma, renderin errors, little birds, flare, anything.

Some says at FredMiranda, that it's better than EF70-200 f4???
Perhaps not, but still good piece of glass.

And the weight issue, it's darn light. 935 grams.
