Lens is fixed CCS 45/2.8; film souped in D-76 1:1, scans from Epson 4490; no meter used, just brain/eyes:
This lens is no contrast monster, but it has a lovely old-fashioned glow about. I think it might be best suited for black and white portraits. Thanks, Bill for the use of it. This is only the second roll I've been able to run through it, first black and white. There is a slight light leak from either the latch or hinge side that showed up faintly in a very few negs. Cam definitely needs seals - and is worth the effort. I fixed the wind-on issue; just some lint preventing a lever from sitting properly. _________________ Paul

Paul, good to see you're getting some use out of the Petri. Sorry to hear
about a light leak, these two are from the only roll I shot through it, Efke

I think the lens has a 'pleasing personality' and am liking what I see with
the Kentmere 400, congrats! |

Thanks, Bill.
That lens does have personality.
That the cam has a bit of leak is no surprise, considering its age. I will cobble up some sealage to take care of that. I'm also thinking of sending it to those camerleather folks to get them to recover it, maybe in the spring. _________________ Paul
