This is the original shot with Canon A-1 and Series 1 70-210 zoom lens,
Fuji Xtra 400:

I had a lot of flare going on in this session by the tall windows and flare is
apparent in the lower right corner, so tried this SEP conversion:

Flare is greatly reduced with a few flourishes in Silver Efex Pro.

Lovely vintage feel to both these images - complemented of course by the 'Ban the Bomb' CND necklace Smile

Thanks, Mal1905, the necklace does add a special touch to the piece! Wink

an excellent photo!

what does SEP conversion stand for, sepia?
was this conversion done digitally?

SEP is Silver Efex Pro, a Nik software program for BW conversions. Having
a lot of fun with it lately, another Fuji Xtra 400 pic with the Canon A-1 and
Series 1 zoom;

more than a little grainy, but I like it. Laughing

ha, again I want to show you one of mine your's reminded me of

S-M-C 1.4/50 wide open, man did I miss that focus Smile

SEP looks very interesting.
I have been using B&W Styler a bit

Canon A 1 and this Black and White - i feel like 30 years ago - super thanks for sharing.
For me it´s a pity that silver effex doesn´t work with Nikon Capture.

I use Silver Efex Pro with Photoshop and Aperture - it's not necessarily camera dependent!

EDIT: Rereading your comment, it's a pity I didn't realise what 'Capture' was when I replied Laughing Embarassed Laughing

Thomas, Mal1905, and Martin, thanks for your comments. I'll be using the
Canon A-1 and the primes this weekend, looking forward to it. Wink
