I was taking photos of a house for an architect friend of mine recently, and when shooting the interior, I came across this sculpture which I thought was really cool. I had the FD[[permanently-converted-to-EF-mount]] 1.2/55mm S.S.C. in my camera bag, so decided to grab some snaps.

EOS 5D - all shots wide-open at f1.2

Perhaps I may have mentioned it before, but I really love this lens Embarassed

Not a fan of the first two but I think #3 came out really well at that angle with super thin DOF.

The photos are very creative but just not my taste... too shallow DoF.

2,3, and 4 are my picks, but an excellent set all round! Nice little lens you

good set, the further down the better I like it
focus increasingly esquisite!
colors are good too

For me I love the subject itself...wow what a cool sculpture.Even with the rough welding.Photos 2,3,4 especially the 3rd one,you can see the concentration on the face....lucky you Mal.

I like the second one, the character looks like a skeleton : ) great dof, i wonder how the 1.2 Nikon will perform
