This was a 1st attempt at off camera flash with models on film. I used 2 cameras on the day to save time changing film. It was too cold for the models to go on too long and I couldn't feel my fingers, so a 3rd roll didn't get used. These are the 1st set from the Chinon CE-3
Models: Laura Ruffell & Iain Gorrie
Camera: Chinon CE-3 Memotron
Lenses: Tamron 90mm SP & CZJ MCS 135mm (headshots)
Lighting: Single bare Nikon SB-28 on stand with sync cable
Film: Ilford FP4+ (pulled to 80iso)
Developer: Rodinal 1:50 for 10:30
PP: cropped, levels & speck cloned

Very nice Martin, well done. Flash and exposure-wise, I like 2, 4 & 6 best. The flash looks a little less harsh in those and so the highlights are better. _________________ Peter - Moderator |

Thanks - Developing for flash may take a few more attempts. I'm fairly pleased for a 1st effort considering I didn't meter the flash. _________________ Casual attendance these days |

Many thanks Bill - For 1st attempt I'm quite pleased. There were a few of the others that I missed on focus and one of the models had their eyes shut. It was a problem that I could not see on the day with no LCD.
Paul - Thanks. We were going for a vintage theme so it must have worked. _________________ Casual attendance these days |
