Pity images don't show.
Nevertheless, I went on your pbase link.
I hear the waves on the beach. I think I'm going to get asleep. Very calm mood.
What do you think about the Samyang for this kind of photography ? Smile

Any particular reason that you don't upload them here?

hmm, i didn`t noticed this yesterday but i also don`t see the images, of course there is no reason i don t want to show them Smile

am i doing something wrong?

Oliver, i find the 135 FL equivalent on a crop body very useful, not only for portraits, but also for this kind of abstracts, where you have to isolate the "subject", it`s a great lens overall but you all know that already

Just add .jpg at the end of each link in your first post and they will appear. Wink

Nice to see the rocks in the water transparency.

The rendition is good, though i presume this is quite stopped down, cos i tried this lens, and until f4 it's awfully soft.

Hello Hexi. Smile
I also think it is stopped down but because of the depth of field.
... and I have to disagree with you about the awful softness when open under f4. This is not what I experienced. Wink

Hexi, yes those are stopped down a lot, f8 and up, to get the DOF needed, but i find it strange that you had the impression the lens is soft opened wider, even if taking into account the system differences there might be (i shoot with a Nikon D300), i finfd it sharp enough, some samples are in order to prove what i am saying, these are hand held samples from the day i got the lens (this is my second lens, i bought and sold a non AE, non UMC version).
