My daughter´s young male Norwegian Forest cat called Hiro.



MC Kaleinar-5N 100/2.8 wide open.

Never heard about this lens Embarassed ..Can it be adapted on Nikon body with infinity focus?
Anyway, it seems to be a very good lens, great cat picture.....

It has a Nikon Ai mount.

My copy of the lens came with both Nikon F and M42 interchangeable (3 screws) mounts. A very good portrait lens, usable wide open. The quality - price ratio is very high, IMO.

Interesting lens for sure......can it be compared to the Nikkor 2,5/105mm for example Question ...

Lovely cat and great image. The fur on the neck looks so fluffy and soft.
The only thing I find sad is the jagged whiskers. I'm quite allergic to that on such a nice capture, but I´m probably over-picky.
(I usually smoothen such areas with the blur tool after resize and sharpening if it is an important picture.)

Thank You Torbod, I never did look the pic magnified after conversion.

I edited the pic, but couldn´t get all the jaggies away (this was the first time I used the Selection brush tool with Capture NX2, I have to practice my PP, I think. Confused

Was the cat named after the photographer Hiro?
He was once one of my favorites.
