Hello all out there. I am a bit newer to this site, but have enjoyed reading the different comments posted by the user community. I have a question about getting "spot on" focusing using the live view feature of upper end Nikon cameras, namely the D700, D7000, D300s. Is there any benefit to starting at the infinity mark, and focusing closer in? Or, is there really no difference due to the fact that one IS using the live view feature? Any helpful comments would be appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome jf56.

The focus ring ends up in the same position, or not. Smile If not, exact focus is in-between.
