I've been offered such a lens in mint condition, I've found little relevant information about it. I've been asked for 400€...
Is it worth to consider at that price?.
Comments welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Jes.

Missing from my collection Sad 400€ is more than I would pay. A collector after mint items might pay 400€. 200€ or 250€ seems more reasonable. Iirc, not many years ago they were auctioned off in the <100€ range.

Gerjan says "This lens closely matches fixed focal length lenses in performance! Really an excellent lens in all respects." He says that about the 85-210 too. I have that lens; I agree.

The 135-600 has 15 elements like the Tamron 60-300, a known performer. The lens is a 4kg monster!

This lens is said to be a real good performer, despite its great range. All the ones in Pentax mount I saw went for more than 500€, so 400€ is a really good price Wink

I got the SMC Takumar version (much rare, as it was the second time in 2 years I saw it) today, so I will post some sample in 5-10 days, when I will receive it Wink

Thanks a lot for your replies. Price seems to be reasonable, but 4Kg weight frighten me a little...

I've yet to decide, thanks for your help!.

Regards.
