These are 35mm slide scans. They don't do so well with my scanner, but
the area is very pretty so I posted them anyway. Smile

This one is more of a "classic" type of view. I wish I could have been up
higher for this one to be able to reduce the amount of sky visible. But, you
can't have everything! The Velvia NAILED the difference in color between
the lake and the sky.

Classic View, Symphony Lake
Pentax ZX-5N
Industar 50/3.5
Velvia

This was my first shot ever on the new Tokina 19-35 lens.

Spillway
Pentax ZX-5N
Tokina 19-35/3.5
Provia

I borrowed the Topcon again, as I had run out of film.

Snout
Topcon Super DM (Borrowed)
Topcor 30/3.5
Velvia

Thanks shauttra and poilu! I "find" these places by utilizing Google Maps
to get the satellite views, as well as the topographical views. I just looked
up the British Columbia Coast Range area, and "looked around" on
Google Maps until I found a spot where it looked like there was a lake
large enough to land on, and that was close to nice glaciers. Hired a
float plane, and that was it, other than driving north about 1200km! Very Happy

Hiring planes to fly off to photograph places is my dream Wink

Great shots. I hope you also captured them on a larger format.
