i bought a 135mm f/2.8 optomax from ebay for a bit of a play around with. however when it arrived i found that the aperture ring wont work, it is stuck in the fully open f/2.8 setting.

it wasn't an expensive buy by any stretch of the imagination but i'm a little pissed off that it doesn't work like i was expecting. so i'm wondering of there is any way to repair it?

Can you post a few pictures of the lens, especially the rear part? There were quite a few models bearing the Optomax name...
