Hi all,

I have just bought a Mamiya 80mm f1.9 Sekor C lens which has a loose focus ring. Aside from being slightly under-damped when turning (i can live with this) it also has a bit of play (3-4mm) before it engages and starts to focus. So - I can move the focus ring back and forth by 3mm or 4mm in either direction without it engaging. My worry is that a screw is loose and may everytually stop working completely. Is this an easy fault to repair? I'm hoping its just a few loose screws which are really easy to get access to? If anyone has experience with this problem on Mamiya lenses I would appreciate some help. Instructions would be great.
