My wife's dad owns these lenses and was thinking of selling them.
I told him that he could use them on his EOS40D (stupid me).
Now I need pictures pref. test shots taen with 50/1.4 and the Vivitar. Found and old thread regarding the zoom-Nikkor.

Now I'm angry to myself for telling him that he could use them... I was literally drooling when he showed me the lenses. Evil or Very Mad

Is the Vivitar 28/2 close focus -version? It's an excellent lens...

Damn...

I wish it was the 28/2 version... It's 28/2.4. It didn't fit completely to the subject field.

2.4? I am only aware of a Kiron-made 2.5. And several 2.8s, whatsoever.
