I bought Sony NEX5 + 18-55/3.5-5.6 OSS kit, then shot some in Kyoto.
These are casual and AF shots, and JPEG outputs with some PP done by PSE.













This market has been inside of very old temple called Toh-ji in Kyoto, only open 22-nd of the month. A famous monk passed
away this 22-nd day, this temple was started by this monk called Kohboh-daishi.

This zoom lens has severe barrel distortion at 18mm and in-cushion at 55mm end, some of the above was fixed.
Otherwise not much of PP has applied, I have not tried RAW shooting yet but I will. I did use a MF lens with NEX5,
will upload them soon, but not expect too much.

I have GF1 (actually my wife's), not exactly same as G1.

It is kinda difficult to compare them, GF1's AF seems faster and
its exposure on people's face is much more accurate I think.

For MF mode, NEX5 is slightly easier to operate. The main reason
I got NEX5 for myself is to use all those dSLR unfriendly Canon FD,
Minolta MC/MD, Alpa mount lenses, and more. So far I have not done
much with MF lenses, so wait for a while.

I can use Contax G-Biogon 21mm and 28mm on NEX, need an adapter
to use Contarex lens.

What is easier ? catch right focus or better due less crop factor ?
