Had a storm come through our area last night, so of course a photo op. Cool

I'm happy with it for my first attempt. Next time I would chose a different focal length. This was shot at 28mm Takumar. I think a 50+ would have been better.

I prefer wider angle to set the context, but very nice shot either way. Well done!

Pentax K7, Takumar 28mm lens and I think the F stop was around 3.5. I can't be 100% sure, as I was trying out a few different settings. I think that one had a shutter speed of 10 seconds.

After doing mine, I read on a different forum, that wide open is best. Hope this info helps.
