I take that as a good joke as this lens is far from sharp. The one Pentax brought to the market later indeed is a much sharper fisheye. This one is a collectors piece as it is rather rare. Most of them have front lens separation, the one on auction also has that. (I have both these fisheyes)

Saw some samples with this glass in past, possibly from you CarbonR and edges were dissapointing. If I remember right.

Possibly yes, because they are almost no pics with the 18/11 on the web apart from mine (even the pictures and infos of the lens are quite rare). I've put two pictures here but have more posted on the forums : http://kajiwara.weebly.com/takumar-1811.html
